Raspberry and Almond Butter Smoothie

I think it’s fairly clear that I love smoothies, I love them even more in a bowl topped with my home made granola or honey and vanilla granola! It’s a great way to start the day, getting in so many vitamins and nutrients! It always feels positive starting the day with such a great breakfast!

Now that Christmas is over a lot of people will be looking at their diet trying to be healthier and therefore I thought I would share one of my go to smoothies! This smoothie is great because like my go to green smoothie (which would also be good to health with that new year health eating resolution) it is so versatile, and lots of different things can be added to it! On top of that if they right things are added like flax seeds and oats it can keep you go for most if not all of the morning!



1 banana

1 cup of frozen raspberries

1 tablespoon of almond butter

1 tablespoon of flax seeds

1/2 – 1 cup of dairy free milk (depending on your blender and if having it in a bowl or cup)


2 tablespoons of oats

1-2 tablespoons of brown rice protein powder (I’d start small if you are not use to the taste)

1 teaspoon of baobab

1 handful of spinach (this will alter the colour quite a lot but it will taste amazing!)


Place all of the ingredients in your blend and blend until smooth!

Pour in a bowl and top with granola, chia seeds or more fruit or pour into a cup and drink on the go!
